Rosie Deacon (b. 1985) is a Sydney-based artist working in sculpture, installation and video. This multi-faceted exhibition includes a new artwork created especially for The Cube, the larger-than-life, fantastical and brash sculptural installation work, Kanga-Pom-Pom Keyring (2017). Also on exhibition is the recent video work, Bit Fat in da back (2016) in which Deacon's original 'kangaroo rap' documents the artist's encounters in and around Sydney's tourist attractions including Paddy's Markets, The Opera House and aboard an iconic Sydney ferry.
